Lost Valley Educational Center - Permaculture Design and Sustainability Education within an Ecovillage CommunityLost Valley Educational Center is a nonprofit environmental educational center dedicated to empowering people to lessen their impact on the earth by teaching permaculture and sustainable living skills. It is also home to an aspiring ecovillage. Since 1989, Lost Valley Educational Center has been a place for experiential learning through our educational programs, as well as within our residential ecovillage. Our programs include: the Camassia Institute for Sustainable Communities, retreat and conference facility, Nature Center and intern program. LVEC uses a permaculture approach of ecological design and restoration to care-take our 87 beautiful acres of gardens, meadows, forests, pond, creek and trails located 18 miles southeast of Eugene, Oregon.
