WHY DON'T WE DO IT WITHOUT ROADS?

(Music: WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD?, Lennon-McCartney) (info./disclaimers) (glossary) (index) (gardening guide)

Why don't we do it without roads?
You'd think our food it had to roll
Why don't we do it without roads?
What's gained in distance is lost in soul
No one's really stopping us
Why don't we do it without roads?

Why don't we do it without roads?
We've traded wisdom for a pot of gold
Why don't we do it without roads?
It's a way of life that's very old
We'd still be free to use walking paths
Why don't we do it without roads?

Why don't we do it without roads?
We'd then stop running over toads
We'd give the animals a place to roam
All creatures would feel more at home
It'd give us all fresh air to breathe
Why don't we do it without roads?

Comments: The Beetless tell it like it is, even as they live in degrees of compromise they must submit to in order to participate in the regeneration of Earth-based culture and the collapse of Western Civilization (or, as Gandhi might say, the lack thereof).
