Woody Plant Propagation |
Lost Valley's Permaculture Land Steward Rick Valley will lead this hands-on workshop at our 87-acre educational center and ecovillage site.
Propagating plants is an inexpensive and easy way to get new plants from plants you or your neighbor may already have. Both Native and useful Non-Native plants such as Currants, Bamboos, Hazels, Willows and many more will be covered.
Propagation techniques we will cover include: cuttings, layering, stooling, division, seed and grafting will be covered. The technique you select will depend on the type of plant you wish to propagate and the amount of care you want to give it. Participants will be able to take home some plants and cuttings.
