A great way to visit Lost Valley and learn about life in community!

Overnight Visitor Days

We begin on Thursday at 9 am with an introduction to community living.  We will cover decision making models, eco-villages, right livelihood, an introduction to facilitation and community well being theory and practice.  Thursday evening activities vary, from jamming around the woodstove in the lodge, to new moon or full moon ceremonies, to student-led projects.

Friday We begin at 9am with an Introduction to Ecovillages and Lost Valley.  We will cover Lost Valley community governance, discuss our housing cooperative, Camas Meadows, and follow that with an in-depth site tour.  After lunch, you will learn about co-ops and micro enterprises, the history of Lost Valley, and receive our course overview.  Then you will have the opportunity to participate in an eco-building or permaculture activity. In the evening, you are welcome to stay for dinner and activities, such as an open mic night or dance party. Bring your curiosity, questions and musical instruments for an educationally good time!

Sliding scale donation of $75 - $200 is appreciated for one night of lodging, five organic, vegetarian meals, and activities.
