Fall Ecology and Harvest Gathering: Application for Worktrade Scholarship

A reduction of fees is available to a limited number of applicants through our worktrade scholarship program. By arrangement, credit can be applied against conference and meal costs and/or lodging/camping fees in exchange for work performed to support this event.

This scholarship is intended for those who cannot afford to pay full cost for the gathering because they have chosen to put their time and energy into work that serves a human or ecological community but does not pay well financially, or for students of limited means.

First, if you have not done so already, please fill out a standard registration form and include a note that you are applying for a worktrade scholarship.

Next, please answer the following questions:

1. What is the human/ecological community in which you work or study? Where is it located? What is your relationship with this community and how long have you been connected with it?

2. What type of service have you been doing for this community? How do you see our event benefiting your work and/or studies with this community? How will your participation in this event benefit others in this community?
