Coordinates administration for a network of 10-20 computers. Ideal skill set includes ability to: troubleshoot hardware (including basic repairs), connection, cabling and internet issues, administer an Actiontec DSL gateway, monitor automated backup of network server, administer a web hosting service account (pair.com), perform routine MySQL backups of website and archiving using ftp/sftp, administer Drupal websites with php programming, HTML/xhtml markup and CSS languages, troubleshoot and update Thunderbird email, Firefox, Openoffice, Windows 2000, and Avast antivirus systems. Candidates without all of the above skills who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of linux/unix, Microsoft Access, and Photoshop and/or other graphics programs a big plus. Must have strong interpersonal skills and patience with low-tech computer users! Longer-term internship (6-12 mos.), or strong interest in community membership, preferred.
