It was twenty years ago today
I started eating in a different way
Started spicing with a different style
Subtler flavors that'll make me smile

A fact that may arouse some fears:
From my table, salt and pepper are banned

It's wonderful to raise your own
It's certainly a thrill
Nutrition is superior
And tastes are incredibulous
From food that's grown at home

I don't really want to rock your shoe
But your diet can be something new
You can resensitize your tongue
Go from worn-out, to being young
If you wean yourself from pepper and salt
And oil-and-sugar syrup malt
You'll start to taste the beauty of the land
