Conference And Events Facility Services

Conference and Events Facility Services Available At Lost Valley

Lost Valley Educational Center sits among 87 acres of diverse, renewing forest at the foot of the Cascades and offers conference and retreat facilities for year round rental. Our experienced staff is available to ensure a highly supportive and productive event. Bountiful, organic meals are served for your enjoyment. Vegetarian or non-vegetarian options are available.

Meeting Rooms

Our facilities include a variety of meeting rooms that can comfortably hold groups up to 70 people. Our main lodge, where meals are served, can also be used to accomodate as many as 150 people. During the summer months, some groups take advantage of our outdoor covered platform as well as finding natural meeting spots in our meadow, by the creek, and in the woods.

Guest Accommodations

Lost Valley has two comfortable dormitories which are nestled in the woods among Douglas Firs. Both dormitories have a full bathroom on each floor. Rooms are double occupancy, but for smaller events, single occupancy may be requested. A few larger, private rooms with double beds are available. Guests may also choose to camp in our meadow.

The Food at Lost Valley

Lost Valley is known for its delicious and abundant organic vegetarian cuisine, prepared in an atmosphere of loving and caring service. One of the ways we express our commitment to the health of our planet and our visitors is through the food we serve, which is grown organically, bioregionally, and locally whenever possible. Many of the vegetables, fruits, and herbs are grown in our own gardens or harvested from our land. We can easily accommodate special or restricted diets.

Activities and Surroundings

Lost Valley is located 18 miles southeast of Eugene on 87 beautiful acres that include forest, meadow, gardens, ponds, a creek with a swimming hole, and a 45-acre regenerating forest. We are in a beautiful valley, surrounded by small farms amidst gently rolling foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Visitors are welcome to wander the trails through our new forest, explore our gardens and bask in our sunny meadow. If you’d like to take a longer walk, a bicycle ride, or just commune with some cows, goats, horses, sheep, alpacas, or llamas, the roads around us are quiet and safe. There are also beautiful places to hike and climb nearby, as well as a reservoir which is available for swimming and boating.
