Visit Lost Valley Ecovillage and Permaculture Center

We offer a variety of ways to get to know our programs, community and land.  Because we are a working eco village and conference center, we have busy scheudules so advance notice is requested. Contact visitor(@)lostvalley.org or call 541-937-3351 x 125 to leave a message.

Overnight Stays are welcome and encouraged.  Lodging is rustic and affordable with delicious meals.  More info on rates here.

Monthly Sunday Tours - Please check out calendar for dates.  On line registration required. 

Enjoy a one hour property tour, dinner and a movie with the Lost Valley Community and new students.   Activities begin at 4:00pm with a tour and are followed by a delicious organic vegetarian dinner.  Stay for a movie if you have time!  Please email visitor (at)lostvalley.org or call 541-937-2567 ext.125 if interested in attending. Suggested donation is $15.00 for a tour and dinner.
 

Friday Immersion Day 9am - 5pm - Please check out calendar for dates.  On line registration required.  This fun Friday Immersion Day begins at 9am with an Introduction to Ecovillages and Lost Valley.  We will cover Lost Valley community governance, discuss our housing cooperative, Camas Meadows, and follow that wiith an in-depth site tour.  After lunch, you will learn about co-ops and micro enterprises, the history of Lost Valley, and receive our course overview.  Then you will have the opportunity to participate on an eco-building or permaculture activity. In the evening, you are welcome to stay for dinner and activities, such as an open mic night or dance party. Bring your curiosity, questions and musical instruments for an educationally good time!

Sliding scale donation of $25 - $75 is appreciated.

Overnight Visitor Days - Select Thursdays and Fridays  Check calendar for dates. On line registration required.  These are a great way for you to visit Lost Valley and learn about life in community. 

We begin on Thursday at 9 am with an introduction to community living.  We will cover decision making models, eco-villages, right livelihood, an introduction to facilitation and community well being theory and practice.  Thursday evening activities vary, from jamming around the woodstove in the lodge, to new moon or full moon ceremonies, to student-led projects.

We can arrange a tour to suit your interests and time frame with advance notice.  Tour rates depend on the length, number of people and area of concentration. Lost Valley is a living laboratory of on-site permaculture activities to learn about. Please contact us to arrange a custom tour.
