Lost Valley Education Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to educate youth and adults in the practical application of sustainable living skills. We achieve this by offering hands-on education in ecological design, restoration forestry, equitable community governance, and regenerative farming, while we steward 87 acres of diverse ecosystems for oak savanna habitat restoration, increased biodiversity, and old growth forest characteristics.

Donate to support our vision to become a bioregional learning center that builds upon our existing education and career development opportunities to regenerate the Cascadia Bioregion. Your donation supports us to enhance existing partnerships with bioregional stewards and educators to offer critical learning opportunities in ecological restoration, fire inclusive land stewardship, local climate adapted food systems and sociocratic governance for community organizing.

Donations to Lost valley are tax deductible and can be made on a recurring basis.

Your donation supports our efforts to:

  • Offer accessible educational courses and workshops that provide skills and experience in regenerative food production, land stewardship, ecological restoration, climate change adaptation, and equitable community governance

  • Steward native ecosystems at Lost Valley through a model of community-supported forestry, which promotes education, skill-share, and local collaborations for rural community resilience

  • Offer scholarships to historically underserved communities increasing access to hands-on learning opportunities for climate change adaptation

  • Establish partnerships with regional, state, and federal organizations to access funding for ecological restoration across our 87 acres

  • Continue developing free courses and internships that enhance our impact as a bioregional learning center, engaging students in ecological, social, and personal growth

  • Perform essential infrastructure repairs and renovations for our educational and community facilities that were built in the 1970’s
