Hands-on Workshops

A local favorite here at Lost Valley, in which we invite our friends and neighbors to gather in celebration of Spring and for the strengthening of our local food and community resilience!

Thanks to funding from the Oregon Health Authority in 2026, we were able to offer:

  • Seed swap table with lots of heirloom, non-gmo, and organic seeds to share

  • Free tree cuttings and plant starts for everyone (fruit trees, native species, greens, brassicas, tomatoes, peppers, etc)

  • Free compost giveaway in partnership with Lane County

  • Local vendors, artists, and food

  • A fundraising raffle

  • Guest speakers and live hands-on workshops centering community and food resilience

  • Community folk dancing from Irish and world folk traditions

  • Kids' corner with fun activities
